    At her residence on Monday, September 15, 1997, Gladys Burchill of Beasley Court, Cambridge, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Stanley and dear mother of Margaret Weaver and her husband George, Mary Haig and her husband Marcus and Evelyn Noseworthy and her husband the late Lloyd Noseworthy all of Cambridge, Dorothy Bretz and her husband Ronald of Plattsville and Donna Beechey and her husband Robert of Guelph. Beloved sister of Myrtle McEwen of Cambridge. Dear grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Reuben and Alice Podger and by her brother, George. She was a lifetime member of the Baptist Church and was a former member of the choir at Avenue Rd. Baptist Church and the Golden Rule Auxiliary. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at the Avenue Road Baptist Church, on Thursday, September 18, 1997, at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Bud Hooper officiating. Interment, Mount View Cemetery.
