HUBER, Lyndall Kevin Passed away suddenly as a result of a car accident on Sunday, March 20, 2011. Lyndall resided at R.R.#1 Wellesley. He was born 17 years ago in Stratford. Beloved son of Kevin and Erna (Dueck) Huber of R.R.#1 Wellesley. Loving brother of Charmaine, Trenton, Jeremy and Derrick all at home. Loving grandson of Cornie and Alvina Dueck of St. Clements and Paul and Fern Huber of Gadshill. Also missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Lyndall was a member of New Hamburg Conservative Mennonite Church. He was a student at ELAWS of E.D.S.S. and was an employee at Wellesley Apple Products. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg tonight (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. and again Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 1: 30 p.m. at Wilmot Centre Missionary Church , 2463 Bleams Road, R.R. # 2 Petersburg where the Ministry of New Hamburg Conservative Mennonite Church will officiate. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cornerstone Christian School or Shining Light Children's Home, Mexico. Huber, Clarence Wilson, son of Simon and Amanda (Bontrager) Huber, was born at Elida, Ohio, Aug. 30, 1902; died at Guelph (Ont.) General Hospital, Feb. 21, 1967; aged 64 y. 5 m. 22 d. In 1930 he was ordained to the office of deacon at South Boston, Va. On Mar. 1, 1925, he was married to Violet Ida Baker, who survives. Also surviving are 12 children (Elizabeth--Mrs. John Burkholder, Martha--Mrs. Walter Good, Gertrude, George, John, Florence, Emma, Paul, Mabel--Mrs. Franklin Roth, Phoebe, Carl, and Ruth), one brother (Ira), one sister (Mary), his stepmother (Mrs. Beulah Huber), and 23 grandchildren. Preceding him in death were one daughter and 2 grandchildren. He was a member of the New Hamburg Conservative Church, where funeral services were held Feb. 23, with Elmer Grove, Paul Landis, and Curtis Cressman officiating.

HUBER, Violet Ida, daughter of Melvin and Laura (Michael) BAKER, was born in Stevensville, Ont., Dec. 7, 1902; died at her home in New Hamburg, Ont., Mar. 6, 1986; aged 83 y. She was married to Clarence W. Huber, who died in February 1967. Surviving are 8 daughters (Elizabeth - Mrs. John Burkholder, Martha - Mrs. Walter Good, Mrs. Gertrude DeLacy, Florence - Mrs. Laurie Riehl, Emma Huber, Mabel - Mrs. Franklin Roth, Phoebe - Mrs. Glen Koch, and Ruth Huber), 4 sons (George, John, Paul, and Carl), 41 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, one brother (Arthur), and 2 sisters (Gladys - Mrs. Emanuel Hoffman and Mrs. Ethel Becker). She was a member of New Hamburg Conservative Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Mar. 8, in charge of Elmer Grove and Timothy Martin; interment in the Conservative Mennonite Cemetery.

LORNE L. ROTH

Lorne L. Roth of New Hamburg died suddenly at his home Tuesday May 11. He was 59.

Born May 7, 1912 in New Hamburg, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin S. Roth and had lived in New Hamburg most of his life. He was a member of the New Hamburg Conservative Mennonite Church.

Surviving are his wife, the former Irene Gascho; two sons, Franklin, R.R. 3 Kippen, and James, at home; four daughters, Mary, at home, Mrs. Ned (Marcella) Graber of Red Lake, Mrs. Paul (Fern) Huber, R.R. 1 Wellesley, and Mrs. Marvin (Esther) Good, R.R. 2 New Hamburg; two brothers, John of Baden, and Alvin, R.R. 2 New Hamburg; one sister, Mrs. Milton (Mabel) Litwiller, Tavistock and eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.

The body rested at the Omand Funeral Home until removal was made to the New Hamburg Conservative Mennonite Church where Rev. Moses Baer conducted a service at 2:30 p.m. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.
