SLOAT, Jessie Louisa (nee Gillies)

Passed away peacefully, on March 9, 2011, at Hilltop Manor, Cambridge. Jessie was in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband Leonard Sloat, two brothers, Bill and Reg, sister, Hilda, and parents, Louisa and William Gillies. Survived by sister, Doris Cromwell (Francis). Dear Aunt to Gerry Kennard, Margaret Stather, Bill and Murray Gillies, Janet Armstrong, Bob and Doug Cromwell and Jim Gillies. Special thanks to Dr. Lawrie and the nursing staff at Hilltop Manor '96 Long Term Care for all their kind, loving care, they have given Jessie. In lieu of flowers, donations to Calvary Pentecostal Church would be greatly appreciated. Yea, though I walk through the Valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for God is with me! Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Pentecostal Church on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.. Arrangements under the direction of Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge.
