TOWER, Carol

Of Espanola, formerly of Cambridge, passed away at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, Sudbury, on Sunday, February 20th, 2011, in her 71st year. Beloved wife of Carl Tower of Espanola. Dear daughter of the late Carl and Elizabeth (nee Perrie) Lehman. Loving mother of Shirley (husband Herb McPherson) of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Audrey (husband Joe Depinto) of Cambridge, Tracey (husband Yvon Piché) of Willisville and Kelly Tower (husband Howard Hertrich) of Kitchener. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Amanda, Carl Jr., Gina, Joey, Michael, Johnny, Jamie-Lynn and great-grandchildren, Cora, Cody, Makayla and Hallie. Dear sister of Shirley (husband Larry Miller) of Guelph. A Memorial Service was held at the BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME, Espanola on Thursday, February 24th at 10:00 a.m., with the Reverend Cory Vermeer-Cuthbert officiating. Interment of ashes in Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge, in the spring.

At St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton, on Tuesday, March 10, 1987. Elizabeth Jean Perrie of 182 Water Street North, Cambridge, in her 71st year. Predeceased by her husband Carl M. Lehman (killed in action 1944). Dear mother of Shirley (Mrs. Larry Miller) of Guelph and Carol (Mrs. Carl Tower) of Cambridge. Also loved by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a sister Margaret Perrie of Cambridge and a close friend of the family, Bill MacDougal of Cambridge. Mrs. Lehman was a long time employee of Scroggins Shoes. Friends will be received at Littles Funeral Home, 223 Main St. E. Cambridge, on Thursday, 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel, on Friday, March 13, 1987, at 3 p.m., with Rev. John Bodkin officiating. Interment in Mt. View Cemetery.
