    WILLIAMS, Muriel (nee Westmorland)

    Born March 15, 1912 in Cairo, Egypt. Muriel with family by her side, peacefully passed away June 14, 2012. She was a resident of St. Lukes Place, Cambridge. Predeceased by her husband, Cyril (1989), also a sister, Lucy Leigh (1996). Survived by her sister, Mabel McEwin of Cambridge. Her legacy of three children, Nancy and husband David McClellan of Brighton, Steve and wife Cheryl (Martin) of Cambridge, Tom and wife Cheryl (Bell) of Sundridge. Grandchildren, Janice and Andy Macfarlane, Tony and Louise McClellan, Brian and Regina Williams, Douglas and Wendy Williams, Claire and John Anderson, Jon and Becky Williams. The delights of her life great-grandchildren, Samantha and Glen Macfarlane, Emily and Julia McClellan, Erich Williams, Amelia and Rebekah Williams, Hannah Williams. She will also be sadly missed by many family and friends. Muriel for many years was the Womens Editor of the Galt Reporter and enjoyed meeting and relating to the public all her adventures. She was also a long time member of St. Andrews (Galt) Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St. Cambridge on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m., followed by a service to honour Muriel's life at 1:30 p.m. Interment, Mt. View Cemetery.
