    KELLY, Velmer Charles

    Peacefully, at Hilltop Manor, Cambridge, on Thursday, October 1, 2009, at the age of 87. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Anne (1992). Cherished father of Lynn Townes (Frank), Valerie Whitelaw (Howard), Ann Mosiondz (Ben), Wilma Thomson, Patrick (Karen), Michael, Ray (Shirley), Matthew (Liz), Bernard (Janice), Mark, and Steve (Ann). Special grandfather of several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Velmer will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Joyce Kendrick and Doreen Bryant. Predeceased by his son, Fraser (1990); brother, Jack and sisters, Amy and Helen. Velmer was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Preston Branch 126. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Velmer's life was held in the chapel of the Corbett Funeral Home , 95 Dundas St., Cambridge, on Saturday October 3, 2009 at 3 p.m.

    At the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, December 19th, 1992, Ann Kelly of Concession Street, Cambridge, in her 67th year. Beloved wife of Velmer Kelly and dear mother of Michael, Raymond and his wife Shirley, Bernard and his wife Janice, Mark, Steve and his wife Jackie, Lynn, (Mrs. Francis Townes), twins Vale-,rie (Mrs. Howard Whitelaw) and Ann (Mrs. Ben Mosiondz), Wilma (Mrs. Gabe Galway) all of Cambridge, Patrick and his wife Karen of Surrey, B.C. and Matthew and his wife Annie of St. Catharines. Also survived by her daughter-in-law, Sandy Kelly of Huntsville. Sisters, Mary (Mrs. A. Loft) of Southampton, Agnes (Mrs. J. Welheuser) of Kitchener, Wilma (Mrs. Don Wehrle), Sheila (Mrs. C. McCormack) both of Cambridge, 33 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Predeceased by her son, Fraser and her sister, Isla. Resting at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends, on Monday (today), from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 22nd, 1992, at 10: 00 a.m., from St. Ambrose R.C. Church, Chalmers Street South, Cambridge. Interment Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
