Passed away peacefully, at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at the age of 82. Predeceased by her beloved husband Raymond Quinton. Cherished mother of Gary and Steve and his wife Judy. Special grandmother of Mark (Lina), Megan (Michael), Rebecca and great-grandmother of Dia, Maarten, Erin and Erik. Joan will also be sadly missed by her brother, Cecil MacLeod as well as her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by her sister, Agnes and her brothers Johnny and Bill. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted at Avenue Road Baptist Church, 465 Avenue Rd., Cambridge, on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Mount View Cemetery.
