Peacefully, at her residence in Cambridge, on Monday, May 7, 2012, at 94 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Manuel Figueiredo (predeceased in 1996). Loving mother of Antonio (Emilia) of Cambridge, Maria DeJesus Bairos (predeceased by her husband Jose Bairos in 2002) of Cambridge, Emilia Figueiredo Soares (John Freitas) of Portugal, Manuel Figueiredo (Gilda) of B.C., Joe Figueiredo (Connie) of Cambridge and Ines Resendes (Isaac) of Cambridge. Loving grandmother of Mindy, Lucy, Danny, Sidilia, Luis, Joe, David, Alice, Paul, Octavio, Jessica; survived by her 13 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brothers, Jose Pereira of Winnipeg, Manitoba and Manuel Pereira of B.C. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered from Our Lady of Fatima Church, Elgin Street, Cambridge, on Thursday, May 10, 2012, at 9 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery.
