For many years, he enjoyed driving cars for dealers and chauffeuring his grandchildren around. Walter always knew the best route to travel and the length of time to get there! Walter was a parishioner of St. Aloysius Parish for 54 years. He was an usher, a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Polish Legion and a participant of the Cursillo movement. The family thanks the Fritz family for all their love and support. We are also deeply grateful to Dad's buddies Wilbert Sommers, Bill Mikol, Glen Thompson, Hank Gregory, Laurie Green and Cliff Dickinson whose friendship brightened our Dad's days, and the many nurses, PSWs (especially Brendan and Brian) and doctors who took care of Dad at Grand River Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital, Fergus Place and Doon Village Retirement Residence. The family will receive friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener (519-749-8467) on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Parish prayers at 3:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Aloysius R.C.
