One daughter and 2 sisters preceded him in death. He was a member of the First Mennonite Church, Kitchener, where funeral services were held May 14, in charge of R. N. Johnson and C. F. Derstine.

    John B Jutzi - (By Chronicle Correspondent) - BADEN - Bishop M. Hallman and D. S. Jutzi officiated at funeral services of John B. Jutzi, held at Steinman's Amish Mennonite Church, yesterday. Burial was made in Wilmot Centre cemetery. Ill for a lengthy period, Mr. Jutzi passed away early Monday at his home, R.R. 2, Petersburg, in his 78th year. Surviving are his wife, formerly Elizabeth Jantzi, three sons, John of Petersburg, Simeon of Baden and Rudy of Milverton, five daughters, Mrs. Louis Gingerich and Mrs. Noah Jantzi, both of R.R. 2, Petersburg, Mrs. Peter Nafziger of R.R. 2, Baden, Mrs. Daniel Roth of Tavistock, and Miss Nancy Jutzi at home.

Eleven brothers, 3 sisters, 3 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren predeceased her. Funeral services were held May 5, 1944, at the home by Bro. Benjamin Gingerich, and at the Steinman Church by Bros. Moses Jantzi and Manasseh Hallman. Text, John 17: 24. Interment was made in the Steinman Cemetery.

The Funeral will take place from her late residence on Friday, May 5th, at 1 o'clock p.m., to Steinman's A.-M. Church for service and interment in Wilmot Centre Cemetery. Her long awaited wish came true - To find rest in that heavenly home; Her mind was free, her heart was pure, When she fell asleep, in peace, forevermore. In life she sought her Saviour; In death she had no fear; She has gone to live with Jesus And loved ones over there.

    CROSSHILL, May 20. Christian A. Kennel, passed away last evening at his home, one mile south of Crosshill, after an illness of one month, at the age of 71. He was married to Barbara Schragg 50 years ago, the two celebrating their anniversary last September.

    Surviving, are his widow, one son, Dan of Victoriaburg, six daughters, Mrs. Sam Lehman, Castor Land, N. Y., Mrs. John Jutzi, Victoriaburg. Mrs. Emanuel Steinman, New Hamburg, Mrs. Sam Erb, Crosshill, Mrs. Irvin Ropt, Detroit, and Mattie at home, one brother, Joseph Kennel, Wellesley, three sisters, Mrs. John Lehman, Groghon, N. Y., Mrs. Peter Yousei, Croghon, N. Y., Mrs. John Bast, Windsor, and 22 grandchildren.
    The funeral will be held from his late residence on Sunday to Maple View Amish church, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
