    Mrs. Robert Mitchell

    The death occurred in Ayr on Monday of Rosanna Trimble, beloved wife of Robert Mitchell, in her 74th year, following an illness of a few months. Deceased was born in Paris, and, upon her marriage, moved to the 7th Concession of Blenheim where she resided until her removal to Ayr 17 years ago. She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, three sons and two daughters, A. Frederick of Bright, Arthur T. of London, William G. of Paris, and Clara and Ada of Brantford; and one grandson, Frederick of London. The funeral took place from her late residence, Bruce street, to Christ Church on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, with interment in the Ayr Cemetery.

    Mary Halliday Former Ayr Resident Passed Away in Michigan

    The death occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Dailey, South Haven, Mich., on October 15th of Mary Brinker, widow of the late William T. Halliday, of Ayr, aged 70 years. Death was due to the effects of a stroke with which she was stricken the day previous. Mrs. Halliday was born in Bright and had lived in Ayr for some 30 years, leaving here 10 years ago to reside with different members of her family. She was of a bright and cheerful disposition, and while residing here was a regular attendant of Knox United Church. The surviving members of the family are: Mrs. Mary Dailey, South Haven, Mich.; Mrs. George Patterson, South Haven, Mich.; Albert E. Halliday, Chatham; Lawrence Halliday, Viking, Alta., and Mrs. Stanley Hancock, Whittier, Calif. She was predeceased by two sons, Ernest Edward and Earl Calvin. A funeral service was held at the home of Mrs. Patterson, South Haven, on Tuesday night of last week, and interment took place to the Ayr Cemetery the following day.
