    GALT WOMAN LEAVES HUSBAND

Left Galt, Ont, for States, but husband causes arrest.

    The Detroit News says'

One of these June romances was frustrated yesterday because John Blouse, of Galt, Ont, objected to his wife having two husbands.

Perhaps Mrs. Louis Krupp also objected to her husband having two wives, but it was not she who telegraphed to the Detroit police that her husband had run away with Mrs. Blouse It was Mr. Blouse who was responsible for the arrest in Detroit Wednesday night of Krupp, Mrs. Blouse and Krupp's eldest son Harry, by Detectives Brooks and Seymour.

The trio was turned over to the immigration office yesterday by the police. Chief Inspector Frick held a session with them lasting over an hour. When he got through they were much disgusted. In fact, Mrs. Blouse looked distinctly angry, and when she looks that way it's awful.

It is not every June day that Cupid manages 'to shoot his arrows through the hide of a man of 50. But not even the fact that he was the father of eight children could shield Krupp from the tender emotion when Mrs Blouse was nigh And Mrs. Blouse herself the mother of three, one of whom is married, just could not resist the charm of Mr. Krupp, for she was only sweet 45, and all her life lay before her that didn't lie behind. So they started off, with Krupp's 23-year-old son as chaperon all in the balmy weather.

They were en route for Kendington, Illi, near Chicago where had decided to make their they future home when John Blouse missed his wife, and instituted a thorough investigation in the town of Galt.

What he learned their led him to telegraph to Detroit, and the police ran a few spikes into the matrimonial mill.

The couple admitted that they had decided to elope because they were tired of their spouses and families and thought they could do better all by themselves on this side the lakes. As tor Harry, he alleged, with a grin, that he didn't know anything about the elopement plans until he was invited to chaperon the couple, but that he came along willingly enough.

Mrs. Blouse sat in the immigration office after the ordeal with that fixed look that comes over the lace of a sufferer from lockjaw, and she was talkative as the nearest star. When asked a question fixed she clamped her teeth grimly together, so that the gold filling bulged. Meanwhile Mr. Krupp allowed that he had said all he was going to say, and Harry remarked that he would say nothing because he didn't know anything to say.

The turtle doves and their chaperon were put under convey and taken back to the Ontario shore, where they were assured that they would not have to return to Galt unescorted.
