STEPHEN T. STANDO, 74, of Hawthorne died Thursday. Born in Canada, he came to the United States in 1953. Before retiring in 1978, he was a foundryman for Williamson Foundry, Carlstadt. He was a Canadian army veteran. Surviving are two brothers, Sigmund Petrinka and John Petrinka, both in Canada. His wife, Stephanie Nadorozny Stando, died in 1988. Services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, Hawthorne, with burial in Fair Lawn Cemetery. Visiting will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

PETRINKA, Mrs. Michael (Anelia) (Nellie)

At her late residence, 247 Franklin St. N., Kitchener, on Monday, May 9, aged 84 years. Nellie Strawas, a former resident of Cambridge (Preston), a member of St. Clement's RC Church. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Strawas; wife of the late Michael Petrinka. Surviving are five sons, Steven Standow of Hawthorne, N.J., Fred Standow of Toronto, Adam, Sigmund and John Petrinka, all of Cambridge; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Zeldon of Woodstock, and Mrs. A. Towers of Cambridge (Preston). Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one son, Pete. Visitation at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton St., Kitchener, after noon on Wednesday. Removal will be made to Sunnyside Home Chapel, on Thursday, at 9 a.m. Funeral mass in the chapel at 10 a.m. Rev. V. M. Shea officiating. Interment to follow in St. Clement's RC cemetery, Cambridge.
