Mrs. Sararas came from County Huron, Ont., in the spring of 1866 with her husband and family. They settled in the Two Creeks district where she devoted herself to husband and family and when the former died seventeen years ago, she continued to operate the farm with the help of her sons until a year ago when she moved into Virden and resided here until her death. A member of the Presbyterian church until union, she was a consistent christian.

She is survived by seven sons: Eli, Arrow River; Nathaniel, Joseph and Simon, Two Creeks; Noah and David, Virden, and two. daughters, Mrs. Robert Busby, of Minneapolis. and Mrs. Robert Gardiner, Virden; also 32 grand-children and 17 great-grandchildren. The sympathy of the community will be extended to them in their loneliness and sorrow.

The funeral took place yesterday afternoon from the family home, the service being conducted by Rev. D. H. Telfer, of St. Paul's United church. The remains were laid to rest in Virden cemetery. [actually buried in the Bennet cemetery]

Elizabeth died August 1885 on Concession XI Lot 32 Minto Twp, Wellington County, Ontario. This address is located along the border of Minto Twp in Wellington and Howick Twp in Huron. Her daughter Esther (Hettie) Sararas Stubbins lived a very short distance over the county border in Howick Twp, Huron County, Ontario. The Stubbins postal address was Harriston, Minto Twp, Wellington County. As the record for Elizabeth's death does not state burial place I have taken a leap of faith in selecting a near by cemetery. It's not likely there will be concrete information on her burial place. If anyone does comes across this information please let me know.
Shortly after Elizabeth's death her widowed husband Jacob Sararas travelled to Manitoba, probably with the Stubbins family as his son Wendel and grandsons had gone to Manitoba earlier in the 1880s.
