    Notes:

    Cecil Snyder of RR 1, Ayr, passed away on January 8th, 1984 at Stratford General Hospital. Mr. Snyder was born at Roseville on October 27, 1900 and was a life-long resident of the Roseville, English Settlement and Dickie Settlement areas. Since 1929 he farmed at Roseville. He had lived at the People Care Centre, Tavistock for the past year. Mr. Snyder was predeceased by his wife, the former Annie Alice Nesbitt, March 7, 1970; his parents Isaiah and Carolyn (Cress) Snyder; also by an infant son and daughter at birth. Lovingly remembered by his daughter Ruth and husband Albert Mitchell of RR 6, Brantford; son, Morley and wife Helen of RR I, Ayr; daughter Jean and husband Robert Habel of Ayr; sister Beatrice (Mrs. James Rutherford) of Kitchener; Myrtle (Mrs. Godin) of Hamilton and brother Carson of Deiroy Beach, Florida. Dear grandfather of: Dennis, Sharon and Don Mitchell; James, Pat, Peter and June Snyder; David, Lynne and Kent Habel. Friends were received at Little's Funeral Home, 39 Grand Ave., Cambridge (G) on Monday evening and Tuesday. The funeral service was held Wednesday, January 11th at 2 p.m. at Little's Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Nicholson of Kitchener officiating. Pallbearers were Dennis and Don Mitchell, James and Peter Snyder, David Habel and Fred Seegmiller. Interment in Roseville Cemetery.

    MRS. CECIL SNYDER PASSES

    A Roseville area resident for many years, Mrs. Cecil Snyder, RR 1, Ayr, died Saturday at St. Mary's Hospital. Kitchener. after a brief illness. In her 70th year, the former Annie Nesbitt, (laughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Nesbitt. was born in Palmerston. Prior to her marriage, she taught school in Blair and the Galt district. The deceased was an adherent of the United Brethren church. Surviving are her husband; a son, Morley, RR 1, Ayr; two daughters. Mrs. Albert (Ruth) Mitchell. Brantford, and Mrs. Robert (Jean) Idabel, of Bright. Eight grandchildren also survive. She was predeceased by two brothers, Thomas and Otto Nesbitt. Funeral service was held Monday afternoon from Little's Funeral Home, Galt, with Rev. C. K. Nicholson of Kitchener and Rev. A. M. Schlenker. of Roseville officiating. Interment was in Roseville Cemetery Pallbearers were Wesley Nesbitt of London;. Robert and James Nesbitt of Brampton; Robert Pope of Fergus; Fred Seegmiller of Ayr and Louis.Paron of Hamilton.

They reside near Roseville, Ontario, where he is engaged in farming."

    SNYDER - Near Roseville, N. Dumfries Twp., Waterloo Co., Ont., of inflammation of the lungs, Bro. Enoch Snyder, aged 64 years, 10 months, and some days. On Tuesday, Jan. 16, he was at the funeral of Sister Shantz, wife of David Shantz, but took sick before he reached home. In spite of all that medical skill could do, he grew worse. Friday morning, the 19th, death made an end of his intense sufferings. Buried on the 22d at the Roseville (Detweiler's) burying ground. He was twice married and leaves a sorrowing wife, 5 sons and 4 daughters to mourn the loss of a kind husband and a dear father. Services by D. Wismer and Jonas Snyder. He was a faithful member of the Mennonite Church for many years.

    DEATH OF ENOCH SNYDER.

    The death of Enoch Snyder, an old resident of North Dumfries, after a brief iliness of three days with inflamation of the lungs, took place at his home near Roseville on Friday. Mr. Snyder who was born at Roseville, was 64 years of age, and had owned and operated successfully the farm on which he died, for 20 years. Previous to that he had conducted the St. Jacobs woollen mills for a time. Mr. Snyder was twice married, and leaves a family of 5 sons and 4 daughters. Five of his children are still at home and of the others, one son is in Hamilton, one in Oregon, and one at Roseville, and one daughter, Mrs. E. Rosenberger resides in Michigan.
