KNECHTEL, Alma Leone - Peacefully, with her family by her side, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Friday, August 8, 2003. Cherished mother of Donna Aletter (George), Tim Knechtel (Audrey Fyfe), Kevin Knechtel (Marilyn) and mother-in-law of Lynn Knechtel. Loving grand-mother to Pat Knechtel (Amy), Brad Knechtel, Dan Aletter (Andrea), Karen Seitz (Terry), Christopher, James and Amy Knechtel and step-grandson, Jim Walker. Remembered affectionately by 11 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by sisters, Marion Johnston (Paul), Dorothy Wismer (Clarence) and her brother, Ron (Pat); brothers-in-law, Richard Knechtel (Ruby) and Wallace Cressman. She is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, William and Marion Holmes; husband, Edward Jack; son, Dennis; brother, Donald and infant sister. Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Alma at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. John's Lutheran Church, 22 Willow Street, Waterloo, on Wednesday, August 13, 2003 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service to celebrate Almas life at 11 a.m. with Rev. Stephen Weber officiating.
