CUDNEY, THOMAS T.

On Saturday, August 22, 1936 at 5: 30 p. m., in his 69^th year, of R. R. #2, Puslinch, at the Galt Hospital. He had been ill for about seven months but had been in hospital but a day. He had resided at his present farm since 1921. Mr. Cudney was a native of Arthur. His wife, Agnes Oliver, predeceased him in June 1935. He was a member of Galt Gospel Hall. Surviving are three sons, Richard, Daniel and Oliver, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Ira Cousins of Maple St. in Galt; Mrs, Clarence Bartels of Hespeler; one brother, Henry Cudney of Shelbourne; one sister, Mrs. Alvin Bonham of St. Catharines; and six grandchildren. Rested at the Harold W. Gray Funeral Home, 132 St. Andrew's St. in Galt. Funeral from his residence on Tuesday at 2: 30 Standard Time. Interment Mount View Cemetery.

Death of Mrs. Richard Cudney

Galt has lost one of its oldest residents, in the person of Martha Miles, wife of Richard Cudney, Chalmers street, who passed away at 2 o'clock, Monday afternoon, aged 67 years. Deceased has been a severe sufferer for a number of months, so that death came in the nature of a release. The late Mrs. Cudney was well and favorably known in Galt and vicinity, where her demise will be generally lamented and the bereaved husband and family, the majority of whom have homes of their own in town, will have the heartfelt sympathy of the community. The funeral took place from her late residence, Chalmers street, to Mount View cemetery, at three o'clock, Wednesday afternoon.
