KIENAPPEL, Joseph At Sunnyside Home, on Friday, Jan. 25, 1985, after a brief illness, Joseph Kienappel, formerly of 150 Erb St. W., Waterloo, age 96 years.
A member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, was the first taxi driver in Waterloo, had been employed at Joseph Seagrams Ltd. for 25 years, until his retirement in 1959.
Brother of Mrs. Irvin Wagler of St. Agatha. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Kienappel; three brothers, Fred, Emil and Leander and one sister, Rose.
Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 2 p.m. on Sunday, where the parish prayers and CWL rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Monday at 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass and committal at Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 11, with Father P.T. Sherratt officiating. Interment will be in St. Agatha cemetery.
