    Death of John Dickert.

    The funeral of John Dickert took place here on Thursday and was well attended. The deceased was a staunch member of the Lutheran Church and a well-to-do farmer, having lived about 2 miles from Heidelburg for the last 40 years. We extend our sympathy to the aged partner in her bereavement.

    HEIDELBERG

    Death has removed another citizen of this community in the person of Mrs. John Dickert who died at the home of her son, Henry, on Sunday morning. Deceased had enjoyed fairly good health up to the hour she sustained a paralytic stroke which terminated fatally. She had reached the ripe age of 87 years and 5 months. She leaves to mourn her loss two sons, Henry at the old homestead and John who resides in Rochester, N. Y. The remains were interred here on Wednesday last in the Lutheran cemetery.
