    There died at "Clochmohr", Waterloo Township, on Tuesday, Jan. 2nd, at 4 p.m., Susan Ray, wife of Robert Blackwood at the age of 72 years. Deceased was born in DaIlar, Clockmananshire, Scotland, in 1822 and came to this country, about 45 years ago, along with her husband. Mr. Blackwood for a time taught school, at Waterloo, Preston, Galt and Glenmorris and finally settled, in Galt at Hunter's Corner. He later sold this property and bought a place next to "Clochmohr" and also invested in land in the North West, where he spends 8 months of every year. Mrs Blackwood enjoyed her usual health until this fall, when she became subject to asthma and heart disease, which caused her death. She leaves two sons John, in Cleveland; Scott, in Alberta and one daughter, Mrs. J. Laing Cowan, to mourn the loss of a loving mother. There was another son, Hunter who died in Windsor, about one year ago. The funeral took place on Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock, from the residence of her son-in-law, J. Laing Cowan, to Mount View cemetery and was attended by a large number of friends.
