    MARTIN, Mrs. Walter M. (Loraine) - On Sunday, March 24, 1991, at K-W Hospital, Loraine (Lichty) Martin, in her 62nd year, of 159 King St. S., St. Jacobs. Beloved wife of the late Walter M. (Wally) Martin (1972). Loving daughter of Gordon and Gertrude Lichty of St. Jacobs and daughter-in-law of Mrs. Adeline Weber of Elmira. Dear mother and grandmother of Brian and Brenda Currah, and their children, Chad, Wade, Amy and Mark of Innerkip, Bruce and Ruth Martin and their children, Brett and Erin of Southampton, Carol and John Paznar and their daughter, Carly of Toronto; dear sister of Dennis and Barb Lichty of Conestogo, Marion and Jim Soltysiak of Brampton, Marlene and Roy Gilles of St. Jacobs and dear sister-in-law of Beatrice and Joe Snyder of Elmira. Also fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and dear friend, Sally Roberts of St. Jacobs. Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira, after 7 p.m. today (Tuesday), where the family will receive their friends tonight, 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon on Thursday, transfer will be made to St. James Lutheran Church, St. Jacobs, for funeral service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Everett A. Mossman officiating, followed by interment in St. James Lutheran cemetery.

    Lichty, Gordon - On Wednesday, Feb. 14, 1996, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Gordon Jacob Lichty, age 97 years, of St. Jacobs. Beloved husband of Gertrude (Heibein) Lichty whom he married on June 20, 1928. Loving father of Dennis and Barbara Lichty of RR 2, Elmira, Marion and James Soltysiak of Brampton, Marlene and Roy Gilles of St. Jacobs. Fondly remembered by his 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, David and Maryann (Peppler) Lichty; one daughter, Loraine and her husband, Walter Martin; one brother, Irvin Lichty and two sisters, Edna Schneider and Clara Dreisinger. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. At noon on Saturday, transfer will be made to St. James Lutheran Church, St. Jacobs for funeral service at 2: 30 p.m., with Rev. Frank Haggarty officiating followed by interment in St. Jacobs Lutheran cemetery. In his memory, donations to St. James Lutheran Church Organ Fund or the Red Cross Home Care may be made as expressions of sympathy.

    LICHTY. - On the 16th of June, in Waterloo Co., Ont., of heart disease, David Licthy, aged 63 years, 8 months and 12 days. He was buried on the 18th at Martin's Meeting-house. Funeral services were held by Abraham Martin and Joseph Gingerich, from Eph. 5: 15 - 17 and 1 Pet. 4: 5 - 7.
