At Sunnyside Home, in Kitchener, on Saturday, July 3, 1993, age 83 years, formerly of Mary Street, Waterloo. Mr. Gaiser was born in Neustadt and was a son of the late Dorothea Metzger and Henry Gaiser. Prior to his retirement, he had owned and operated Gaiser Insurance Agency in Elmira. Predeceased by his wife, Dolores Lang, two brothers, Norman and Harry and two sistres, Melinda and Lottie Durst. Dear father of Beverly and her husband Bill Moulton of Grimsby. He is also fondly remembered by four grandchildren, Jeffrey Walker and his wife Carolyn, Bradley Walker and his wife Karen, Jennifer and her husband Robert LeRoy and Michael Walker, six great-grandchildren, Jamie, Dana, Matthew, Shannon, Jacklyn and William; his brother and sisters, Elmer Gaiser and Dorothy Bird both of Waterloo, Lydia Duffy of Hanover, Caroline Hackbart and Vera Witzel, both of Kitchener. Mr. Gaiser's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St., South in Waterloo from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. today (Monday). The funeral and committal service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Fred Ludolph officiating. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Kitchener-Waterloo or Sunnyside Home for the Aged would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Death called a well known and much esteemed business man of Neustadt yesterday morning in the person of Mr. Henry Gaiser in his 53rd year. He had been a shoe and boot merchant in that village for many years. Deceased had been ailing for a couple of years, and underwent an operation a few days ago for gallstones, but in his weakened condition the shock was too much for him. Deceased is survived by his wife and ten children and his mother and two sisters, to whom the sympathy of the community will be extended. The funeral will take place from his late residence on Saturday afternoon at 1: 30 o,clock for the Lutheran cemetery, Neustadt.

Mrs. Dorothea C. Gaiser, 81 of 86 Union Street East, Waterloo died Sunday at her home. Born in Carrick Township Jan. 9, 1875, she was a member of St Mark's Lutheran Church. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Metzger she married Henry Gaiser Dec 3, 1895 who predeceased her May 11 1921. One daughter Mrs. William (Charlotte) Durst predeceased her in 1952. Surviving are four sons, Norman of Absecon N.J., Harry of Guelph, Edgar and Elmer of Waterloo, five daughters, Mrs Elwood (Lydia) Duffy of Hanover, Mrs Gordon (Caroline) Miller of Collingwood, Mrs Donald (Dorothy) Bird of Waterloo and Mrs. Fred (Melinda) Durst and Mrs John (Vera) Witzel of Kitchener: 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The body is at the Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1: 30 p.m. Burial will be in St Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Neustadt Ontario.
