Hezekiah Hill, on the 1st inst., at the residence of Mr. M. Wilkes, on the Grand River, a few miles from Galt, a man named Brown was pressing a crooked stick against a saw, when it burst. Hezekiah Hill, who was carrying a stick toward the machine, was struck above the forehead by a piece of the saw. He only survived a few hours. Deceased was middle-aged, and leaves a wife and 2 children.
