    A-2-113 Alexander Webster Letters of Guardianship. Whereas Ellen Wedderburn of the Township of Wellesley, late widow of Alexander Webster, deceased, by petition to the said Court did set forth that Alexander Webster, late of the Township of Wellesley, Yeoman, died on or about the 8th July 1854, leaving John Webster, Alexander Webster, William Webster and Mary A. J. Webster, his natural and lawful children. The said John Webster being a minor of the age of nineteen years, the said Alexander Webster being a minor of the age of sixteen years, the said William Webster being a minor of the age of twelve years and the said Mary A. J. Webster being a minor of the age of seven years, and that the said John Webster, Alexander Webster, William Webster and Mary A.J. Websteer reside at the Township of Wellesley. That the said Alexander Webster died intestate and without appointing any Curator or Guardian of the said minors. That due notice has been given of the petitioners intention to apply to be appointed guardian and that the petitioner is the lawful mother and next of kin of the said minors and prayed that she might be appointed guardian of the said minors pursuant to the statue in that behalf and that Letters of Guardianship might be granted to her by the said Court. Be it known that on the 26th July 1861, the said Ellen Wedderburn was appointed Guardian of them the said John Webster, Alexander Webster, William Webster and Mary A. J. Webster, and these Letters of Guardianship are accordingly granted by the said Court to the said Ellen Wedderburn…

    BOND Know all men by these present that we, Ellen Wedderburn of the Township of Wellesley, wife of Joseph Wedderburn of the Township of Beverly, in the County of Wentworth, Gentleman, and the said Joseph Wedderburn, Elisha Hewit the elder of the Township of Woolwich, Yeoman, and James Webster of the Township Wellesley, Yeoman are held and firmly bound unto John Webster, Alexander Webster, William Webster and Mary A. J. Webster, of the Township of Wellesley, the infant children of Alexander Webster late of the Township of Wellesley, Yeoman, deceased, in the following penal sums, that is to say the said Joseph Wedderburn in the sum of three thousand four hundred dollars, the said James Webster, Elish[sic] Hewit the elder, in the sum of three thousand four hundred dollars for which payment to be well and truly made unto the said John Webster, Alexander Webster, William Webster and Mary A.J. Webster, we bond ourselves and each of us by himself our and every of our executors and administrators firmly by these present sealed with our seals dated this 19th July 1861. Whereas the said Ellen Wedderburn, being appointed guardian of the said infants by the Surrogate Court…according to the Statute in that behalf is required to give security to perform the said trust…
