November Wedding-1910 The residence of Mr. Thos. Clayfield, Conestogo, was the scene of a pretty house wedding on Monday, Oct 31st, at 3 p.m., when his second daughter, Annie Julia, was married to Frank Henry, only son of Mr. and Mrs. H.F.W. Lorenz, Waterloo. The knot was tied by the Rev. Dr. Scanlan, of Elmira. About 50 invited guests were present from Berlin, Hamilton, Curtsville and Waterloo. The bride looked very beautiful, as she entered the parlour, which was prettily decorated with evergreens, leaning on the arm of her father. She was attired in a dream silk-voile dress, trimmed with satin and all over lace, and wore a beautiful wreath of orange blossoms and veil. She also carried a bouquet of white carnations. The bride was attended by her sister, Lizzie, of Toronto, who wore a white silk over pink. The groom was supported by his cousin, Mr. Henry Motschman, of New Hamburg. The young couple will reside in Stratford.

    MISSING GIRL HAS RETURNED.

The disappearance of the sixteen- year-old daughter of Mr. Thos. Clayfield, an esteemed resident of Conestogo, on Wednesday night of last week, caused quite a stir in that village. The girl had left a note on the table signed by "A Wretched Daughter," stating that she had gone to a distant swamp to take her life. The parents called on the villagers for assistance in searching for the missing girl, which was continued up to Friday, when she was located at Bridgeport and returned home late on Friday night.
