Caroline Lemke was born in Neudorfchen, Gross Gilwe, Klein Tromnau, Danzig-West Prussia(today Poland) on the 3rd July 1838 to Jacob Lemke and Eva Mahlzahn. Her baptismal date was the 12th August 1838. She married on the 13th of December 1865 at Klein Tromnau, Danzig-West Prussia(now Poland) Frederick William Kischel, son of Adam Kischel who was born on the 9th of May 1841. The source of the information is found on the church records from Evangelische Kirche Klein Tromanu(Kreis Rosenburg) in the district of Ilawa u Turmiejki, Poland found on Ancestry.

Her first daughter was Ida Bertha Kischel who was born on the 18th of November 1866 at Gross Gilwe, West Prussia. She died on the 29th of September 1868 in Gross Gilwe, West Prussia. Her first son was Theodore Theophilus Kischel who was born on the 10th of September 1868 in Gross Gilwe, West Prussia. Richard Gottfried Linhard "Fred" Kishcel was born in the Village of Baden on the 26th of June 1878. Her daughter Augustina Wilhelmina Kischel was born in the Village of Baden on the 1st of September 1880.
