MRS. SUSAN MAURER

ELMIRA, Oct 5 - The death occurred at midnight last night of Mrs. Susan Maurer, wife of John Maurer, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Underwood, Bridgeport, in her 87^th year.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Duncan and had been in ailing health for the past eight years.

Surviving are her husband and five stepchildren, Walter and Ezra Maurer of Woolwich Township; Mrs. Wilfred Underwood and Mrs. Victoria Hebel, Bridgeport and Mrs. C. Jefferson of Kitchener. One sister, Mrs. Samuel Church, Stoney Creek, also survives.

The funeral will be held on Thursday from Dreisinger's Funeral Chapel, Elmira, with Rev. L. H. Pletch of Bridgeport in charge. Interment will take place in Elmira Cemetery with the burial service conducted by Rev. E. N. Mohr of Elmira.

The remains are resting at the Bridgeport home of Mrs. Underwood, until Thursday afternoon at on o'clock.
