    ST. CATHARINES, Jun 25. - A former resident of Waterloo, George B. Easton, 64, of Grimsby, died at St. Catharines General Hospital Wednesday after a brief illness. He was born in Waterloo July 19, 1883, and attended the Church of the Holy Saviour. Surviving are his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Vernon Croft of Grimsby, and one brother, Oscar Easton of Waterloo. Two grandchildren also survive. The funeral service will be held at Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home at 4 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Waterloo. Archdeacon J.N.H. Mills will officiate. The body is resting at the funeral home.

    The death occurred this morning of Mr. Wm. Easton, a well known and respected resident of Waterloo who passed away at his home. 72 Victoria St., after a week's illness. Deceased was an employee at the Water and Gas plants for some vears and was able to be at work until a week ago. He was in his 65th year.

    There survive a wife and two sons. George and Oscar. both of Waterloo: also two grandchildren, three sisters and four brothers, Adam of Preston; John, George and James of Michigan; Mrs. Isabela Venton of Waterloo, Mrs. H. Conlen and Mrs. J. Macklen of Michigan.
    The funeral will take place from the late residence at 2.30 o'clock on Friday afternoon for service thence to Mount Hope cemetery for internment.

    MRS. ELIZABETH EASTON

    A life-long resident of Waterloo, Mrs. Elizabeth Easton died at her home. 72 Victoria street, this morning after an illness of about three years. She was in her 78th year. Mrs. Easton was a member of St. John's Lutheran church.

    Her husband having predeceased her 15 years ago, she is survived by two sons, George Easton of Grimsby and Oscar of Waterloo, one sister. Mrs. Henry Rahn of Tavistock and one brother, Conrad Braun of Waterloo. Three grandchildren also survive.

    The funeral will be held Sunday at 3 o'clock from her late residence to Waterloo Mount Hope cemetery. The remains will rest, at the Letter and Dreisinger Funeral Chapel until noon tomorrow when they wil be taken to the home.

    Mr. Conrad Brown, an Old Pioneer Passes Away at Waterloo

    An old pioneer of this county passed away at the home of his daughter Mrs. Wm. Easton, Waterloo, on Tuesday at 6 o'clock pm, in the person of Conrad Brown, after an illness of about three weeks, at the advanced age of 79 years, 4 months and 14 days.

    The late Mr. Brown was born in Germany and came to Canada when about 25 years of age, settling in Erbsville, at which place he resided for upwards of fifty years. He was married to Elizabeth Baetz who predeceased him 15 years. He had been on a visit to his daughter for the past month.

    Seven children survive, four sons and three daughters, viz., Margaret I(Mrs. E. Simpson), Durham; Elizabeth (Mrs. Wm. Easton), Waterloo; Mary (Mrs. Henry Rahn), Rumelhardt; George, Erbsville; Jacob, of near Erbsville; Conrad, West Montrose, Theodore, Waterloo. He is also survived by a brother in Mount Forrest and a sister in Germany.

    The funeral wil be held on Friday at 1 o'clock, from the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Wm. Easton to the Lutheran church, Erbsville, for service.
