    BAKER, Oliver Nelson (Bus)

    Of 100 Queen St. North, Kitchener, Ontario, passed away at the University of London, Ontario in his 56th year, Oliver Nelson (Bus) Baker, beloved husband of Ruth Gollnitz. Mr. Baker was born in Granton, Ontario and had lived all his life in the Preston-Kitchener area. He was Sales Manager for the Canadian General Towers of Galt. Past president of the Ontario Motor League Tri-County Automobile Club and second Vice President of the Ontario Motor League of Ontario; also member of the Twin City Masonic Lodge and veteran of the Second World War serving in the RCAF. Mr. Baker is also survived by two sisters, Frances (Mrs. Otto Siefert) of Galt and Nora (Mrs. Nyle Futher) of Kitchener. Mr. Baker was predeceased by his parents Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Baker of Preston and one brother, William of Preston. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, corner Queen and Argyle Streets, Preston, where funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 2 p.m. by Dr. Finlay Stewart of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Kitchener. Interment in Preston cemetery.

    At the Fairview Mennonite Home, Preston, on Friday, March 17, 1972, formerly of 454 Hamilton St., Preston, Isabella Oliver, beloved wife of the late Wilbur W. Baker; dear mother of O. N. (Bus) Baker, Kitchener, Mrs. Frances Siefert, Galt and Mrs. Nyle Futher (Lenora) of Kitchener; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; in her 92nd year. Mrs. Baker was born in Brussels and lived in Preston since 1920, coming here from Granton, Ont. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Queen Rebekah Lodge and the Preston Chapter of the Eastern Star. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, Preston, where funeral and committal service will be conducted Monday, at 2 p.m. Interment Preston cemetery.
