Jacob Cressman, "was born in Limerick County, Pennsylvania, March 6th, 1774. He was married to Elizabeth Longenecker who was born August 10th, 1778, and died May 3rd, 1858. They resided in Wilmot Township near the Schmidt Mennonite Meeting House, where he died July 8th, 1833. His family consisted of seven children, (Maybe there were more in family)"

We could not obtain all the desired information pertaining to this family, viz: To whom old Nicolaus was married, when he died and names of all his children with their descendants. All we have is the name of one son who settled in Wilmot Township, Waterloo County, Ontario"
