AVES, Albert (Abie) William: At the Hilltop Manor, Cambridge on Sunday February 8, 1998 in his 88^th year. Albert Aves is the beloved husband of Elsie (Doll) (nee Pagett) of Cambridge. Dear father of Marilyn Swan and her husband Earl of Cambridge, Shirley Keller and her husband Konrad of Puslinch and Edward and his wife Avril of Kitchener. Loved grandfather of 5 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren and predeceased by one grandson. Dear brother of Harold of Kitchener, Art of Toronto and Helen Entwistle of Cambridge. He was predeceased by a brother Frank. Mr. Aves is a retired employee of Stamped Enamel (American Standard). Friends will be received at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday February 13, 1998 at 1: 30 p.m. Rev. Andrew Paulsen of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating. Interment, Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge. A reception will follow in Coutts Family Reception Cottage. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Charity of your choice.

Mrs. Albert E. Ayes

PRESTON - Mrs. Albert E. Ayes, 82, formerly of 591 Guelph St., Preston, died Saturday, at K-W Hospital, Kitchener. Mrs. Ayes was the former Mary Anne Denham and was born in London, England. She had been a resident of Preston, for more than 60 years. She lived at Sunnyside Lodge, Kitchener, during the past year. She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist, Galt. She is survived by her husband Albert E. of Kitchener; four sons, Albert of Galt, Harold of Doon, Frank of Halifax and Arthur of Toronto; one daughter, Mrs. Fred (Helen) Entwistle of Preston; two brothers, Frederick of Preston and William of Royal Oak, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Pettigrew of Hamilton; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, where service will be conducted, Tuesday, at 4 p.m. Burial will be in Preston, Park Lawn cemetery.
