    Of 566 Vine St., Cambridge (Preston) at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Saturday, July 2, 1977, Benedict Kowalsky, beloved husband of Anne White; dear father of Gerald of Kitchener, Lorne of Windsor, Marjorie (Mrs. Alfred McGlynn), Shirley, (Mrs. Regnald Guttin) of Cambridge (Preston), in his 88th year. Mr. Kowalsky was born in Poland and was a resident of Cambridge (Preston) for 60 years; retired from Clare Brothers in 1960. A member of St. Clements Church. Also survived by one brother, Frank of Cambridge (Preston), two sisters, (Mrs. Victoria Petroski of Detroit and a sister in Poland; also surviving are 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (Preston), until Monday morning; then to St. Clements Church, for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in Parklawn cemetery.

    Of 586 Vine St., Cambridge, on Wednesday, March 29, 1989, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Anna White, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Benedict Kowalsky (1977). Dear mother of Gerald and his wife Amelia of Kitchener, Lorne and his wife Hilda of Windsor, Marjorie (Mrs. Alphonsus McGlynn) and Shirley (Mrs. Reginald Guttin Sr.), both of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one brother, Jerome White and his wife Adrian of Kitchener. Predeceased by one sister, Lucy (Mrs. Peter Wideman) of Kitchener. Mrs. Kowalsky was born in Kitchener and lived in the Kitchener-Cambridge area, all her life. She was a member of St. Clement's RC Church, Cambridge and the Catholic Women's League. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 586 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, Thursday, 2.4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's RC Church, Cambridge, Friday, March 31, 1989, at 11. a.m. Interment Parklawn cemetery.

    John Joseph White

    John Joseph White, died at his home, 1 Oak Street, last night at the age of 68 years. Death was due to heart failure. Mr. White was born in Poland and came to Canada at the age of nine years. He was engaged as a button turner with the Dominion button Company. He attended Sacred Heart Church and was a member of St. Joseph's Society.

    Mr. White was married in 1894 to Rose Oraszek, who survives with one son, Jerome of Doon, two daughters, Mrs. Peter Wideman and Mrs. Benjamin Kowalski, both of Kitchener, four brothers, Frank, Leo, Adam and William White, all of Kitchener, two sisters, Mrs. Charles Kaplin, Kitchener, and Mrs. John Rogowski, Buffalo, N.Y., and ten grandchildren.

    The funeral will be held Thursday from the residence to Sacred Heart Church for service at 9 o'clock. Interment will take place at Mount hope Cemetery. Rev. Joseph Sambroski, pastor, will conduct the services. The remains will rest at the Lippert Funeral Home until 7 o'clock tonight when they will be removed to the home.

    Mrs. John White

    Mrs. John White, 92, of 1 Oak St., died Saturday at Coutts Pavilion of Freeport Sanatorium after a brief illness.

    She was the former Rose Orazek, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Orazek, and a native of Poland. She had lived in Kitchener for most of her life.

    Mrs. White was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church and the Christian Mothers Society.

    Her husband died in 1939, and a daughter, Mrs. Lucy Wideman, died in 1958.

    Surviving are one son, Jerome of Kitchener; a daughter, Mrs. Ben (Annie) Kowalski of Preston; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

    The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited at 8:30 pm, today and prayers offered at 9:30 am, Tuesday followed by requiem high mass at Sacred Heart Church at 10 o'clock. Rev. John Poreda will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope RC Cemetery.

    Celebrated 50th Anniversasy of Marriage

    Mr. and Mrs. Joseph White of this city celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding on February 7. The occasion was obverved in the Sacred Heart Church by the singing of a solemn high mass the renewal of their marriage vows of half a century ago. The service was conducted by the Rev. Father Rogulski. Immediately following the mass, while they were kneeling at the alter they were presented with a gold-headed cane representing the staff of Aaron, and were given a bouquet of roses and a symbolic cross. After the service a reception was held at the Strange street home, and was attended by their many relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. White have 9 children, 30 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mr. White is 70 years of age, while his wife is aged 68 years. They cam to this city from Poland in 1880.

    Joseph White - There passed away this morning in his 75th year Joseph White, 98 Strange Street. The late Mr. White had been in his usual good health until about six o'clock this morning when he was taken suddenly ill and he passed away by nine o'clock. He was an employee of the Rumpel Felt Company. Mr. White was a resident of this city for the past 45 years during which time he made many acquaintances. His death will be a giant shock to all who knew him. Surviving are his sorrowing wife, five sons and three daughters. They are: John, Frank, Leo, Adam and William all of this city, Mrs. Walter Rogowski, Mrs. John Rogowski, and Mrs. Charles Kaplin, all of this city. Two brothers, Frank and Michael of Kitchener and two sisters, Mrs. F. Lemanski, and Mrs. E. Lemanski of this city, also survive. The funeral will be held at the Sacred Heart Church on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. Burial in the RC Cemetery.
