    Mrs. James Bell

    HESPELER, Sept. 14. - The death of Mrs. James Bell occurred yesterday at her home, Henry St., following a long illness. Mrs. Bell, the former Freda Arlidge, was born at Meaford and has been a highly-esteemed resident of Hespeler since 1935. A member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, she took an active interest in church activities and also the Red Cross.

    Surviving are her husband, James Bell, of the local Bank of Montreal; a son. James Moultrie Bell, Hespeler; a daughter. Mrs. Ronald J. Ball, of Oshawa; three brothers, Aubrey H. Arlidge of High Prairie, Alta.,. Melvern R. Arlidge of Edmonton, Alta., G. Ainslie Arlidge of Toronto, and a sister, Mrs. Harold W. Solomon, of Meaford.

    The funeral will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church tomorrow at 2 p.m. The body is resting at the Stager-Russ Funeral Home until tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. when removal will be made to the church. Rev. Earl F. Smith will conduct the service. Interment will be in Hespeler Cemetery.
