Irwin Aldridge

ST. MARYS - Irwin Aldridge of St. Marys, formerly of Bridgeport, died at St. Marys Hospital on Friday. He was 88.

He was a millwright, retiring eight years ago. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, the former LucindaBinkle; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Verde) Harris, Windsor, and Mrs. James (Catherine) George, Welland; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The body is at the Lindsay Funeral Home, St. Marys, where the service will be conducted Monday at 1: 30 pm. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, Breslau.

A former resident of this district, David R. Aldridge, 94, died at the home of his son Irvin at St. Marys, Saturday.

Mr. Aldridge resided in Galt and Bridgeport for many years before taking up residence in St. Marys. His wife predeceased him many years ago.

Only survivor is Irvin.

The remains are resting at the residence where the funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1:30. Inter- ment will be made at Killian Ceme- tery, Galt.

ALDRIDGE, ALVINA (Nee Begerow)

Word was received here of the death in Hamilton of Mrs. David Aldridge during Tuesday night, July 7, 1931, after a long illness, in her 79^th year. She was well-known by the old residents here, having been born in this neighbourhood (Killean). Later, she lived in Ayr. Survived by her husband and one son, Irwin, both of St. Mary's. The funeral was held Friday afternoon, July 10^th from the Young Memorial Chapel to Killean Cemetery.

BEGEROW, SOPHIA (Nee Kludas)

Death of An Old Resident of Puslinch

At the residence of her son on Siddall St. in Galt, on Saturday, March 30, 1895, in her 77^th year. Widow of the late Frederick Begerow of Puslinch, who died in 1875. She was a native of Mecklenberg, Germany, married in 1850 and came to this country with her husband in 1851, settling in Puslinch Township. Since the death of her husband, Mrs. Begerow has resided with her step-son, August Begerow and removed with him to Galt about two years ago. She had been ailing but a short time. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. David Aldridge of Greenfield; and three step-sons, Henry in Michigan; John in Guelph; and August of Galt. The funeral took place on Monday to Killean Cemetery and was largely attended by many friends from Galt and surrounding townships. Rev. Dr. Jackson conducted the services.
