He was born December 30th, 1774, and died at Doon, Ontario, at which place they had settled in 1800. She died december 22nd, 1854.     Abraham Kinzie, "The founder of this family was a native of Switzerland whom religious persecutions first drove to the Palatinate and afterwards to America. He arrived in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, as early as 1735 if not before. The old progenitor, Abraham Kinzie by name, resided near Quakertown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where he died, leaving a family of several sons. The names of two were Dilman and Abraham."

    (Kinzie is now spelled different ways by different branches of the family, viz: "Kinzie, Kinzey, Kinsey, Kinsie and Kinse")

    John Biehn " was a native of Switzerland where he was born in 1737. In 1742 his parents moved to America and settled in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, where he was raised. He was married to Barbara Fried who was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, in 1744. In 1800 they with their family of grown children moved to Canada and settled one mile west of Doon, Ontario, on the farm now in possession of Aaron S. Biehn, their great-grand-son. Here the old progenitor purchased a large tract of land still known as "Biehn's Tract." She died in 1807, aged 63 years, and he died in 1811, aged 74 years. .."
