    MR. AND MRS. HENRY PRIEBE

    Mr. and Mrs. Henry Priebe are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today with a family gathering at their home, RR 2, Petersburg. Mrs. Priebe is the former Agnes Fowler, formerly of Kelty Fifeshire, Scotland.

    The couple have two sons: Roy of New Hamburg and James of Mannheim. There are six grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
    Mr. and Mrs. Priebe are both retired.

    PRIEBE, Mr. Harry A. -
    At the K-W Hospital, on July 3, 1980, Harry Priebe, age 74 years, of Route 2, Petersburg.

    He was born in Fergus, Ont., and had been retired from the Waterloo Manufacturing Co. for nine years. He served with the armed forces in the Second World War and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 50, in Kitchener. Mr. Priebel was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Priebe.

    Husband of the former Agnes Fowler; father of Roy of New Hamburg and James of Mann- heim; also survived by six grandchildren and one great- grandchild.

    Resting at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, for funeral services in the chapel on Satur- day, at 2 p.m., Rev. Delton Glebe officiating. Interment Memory Gardens.

    For those who desired donations may be made to the Ontario Heart Foundation as expressions of sympathy.

    PRIEBE, Mrs. Agnes Martin-On Sunday, Jan. 31, 1993, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener.

    She resided at Nithview Home, New Hamburg and was formerly of Mannheim. Agnes was born in Scotland 84 years ago, a daughter of the late John and Isabella (nee Fotheringham) Fowler. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading as her hobbies.

    Beloved wife of the late Henry Alfred Priebe who predeceased her in 1980. Loving mother of Roy and his wife Ruth of Goderich and James and his wife Patricia of New Hamburg; sadly missed by six grandchildren, Joanne and her husband Ross McDonald of New Hamburg, Brian of Kitchener, Mark and his wife Joanne of New Dundee, Karen Priebe of Welland, Paul of Stratford and Todd of Kitchener; three great-grandchildren, Shaun and Stephanie McDonald and Kyla Priebe.

    Agnes was predeceased by two brothers, George and James and four sisters, Isabella Webster, Joanna Penman, May Griffen and Jean Fowler.
    Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, today (Tuesday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. On Wednesday at 10 a.m., transfer will be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg for the service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Andre Lavergne officiating. Interment Memory Gardens, RR 2, Breslau.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Nithview Home.
    There will be a time of fellowship and lunch in Trinity Hall immediately after the service with interment to follow.

    Gustave Priebe

    Gustave Priebe, 87, of Mannheim died at St. Mary's Hospital Saturday. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gottfried Priebe.

    Surviving are one son, Harry of Mannheim; one stepson, Robert Wilson of Fort William; two grandsons. His wife, the former Katharine Plant, predeceased him in 1934.

    The body is resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, where the funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. Rev. E. E. Hallman of Zion Evangelical Church will officiate. Burial will be held in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

    MRS. GUSTAVE PRIEBE

    Mrs. Kate Priebe, widow of Gustave Priebe, passed away at her home, 52 Weber street east at 10 o'clock on Saturday night after being ill since November 1 of last year.

    The deceased was born in Holland and was in her 76th year. She is survived by one son, Harry of this city and by two brothers, Charles Plant of Drayton and Walter Plant of Elora.

    The funeral will take place on Tuesday afternoon at three o'clock with a service at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home. Interment will be made in Mount Hope cemetery. Rev. E. E. Hallman, pastor of Zion Evangelical church will have charge of the service.

    TWO SONS SURVIVE

    Mrs. Gustave Priebe who died over the weekend is survived by two sons. Harry of Kitchener and Albert of Fort William and also by her husband. It had been stated that she was a widow and that only one son survived.
