William Black Passes

The death occurred at his home, 434 Margaretta St., Toronto, on Sunday of William Black, 85, as the result of a heart attack. Born in Toronto, he spent most of his life in that city. He resided for some years in Ayr, where he married the former Ada Elliott, who survives. Later they lived for a time in the West before returning to Toronto. Surviving, besides his wife, who Is a sister of the late Henry C. Elliott, are two sons and a daughter, George, Carl and Mrs. James (Jessie) Brown, all of Toronto. Five grandchildren also survive. Funeral service was held in Toronto today (Wednesday) at 1 p.m. with interment in Ayr Cemetery.
