Edgar passed away at his home, Bute St., Ayr, on Wednesday. lie had been in ill health for a lengthy period. He was born on the family homestead on the Blenheim Townline, which has always been known in this community as 'The Hill Farm'. Mr. Edgar lived out his industrious years on these ancestral acres until retiring into Ayr eight years ago. It was a matter of pride with him that the farm had been in the family for over a century, and this tradition is being furthered by his son Cameron, who now operates the farm. His keen business sense made his services in these capacities extremely valuable, and although hampered by failing eye-sight in later years he retained a continued interest in the church.
