Mrs. Christena West

PRESTON -- Mrs. Christena West, 91, of 405 Waterloo St. Preston, died Saturday at South Waterloo Hospital, Galt. Mrs. West was the former Christena Dickson and was born at Valens, Beverley Township. She had lived in Preston for 45 years. She was a member of St Paul's United Church here. She was predeceased by her husband, John George West in 1945 and by a son, George Clifford in 1956. Surviving are one son, John Laurence, of RR#1, Blair, one daughter, Mrs. Grant (Edna) Malcolm of Galt: eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The body will be at Stager-Barthel Funeral Home where service ill be conducted Tuesday at 2: 30 p.m. Interment will be in Preston Cemetery, Rev. Arthur Waters of St. Paul's United Church will officiate.
