HENRY SCHMIDT

PRESTON, April 26 - In ill health for several years as a result of a heart condition, Henry Schmidt died at his home yesterday in his 59th year. Born in Millbank. Mr. Schmidt came to Preston about 40 years ago and has lived on his farm at Hagey's Crossing for the past 16 years. He was a member of St. Peter' Lutheran church and of the Oddfellows Lodge. He is survived by his widow, nee Rose Gellow, one son George at home, one brother George at Millbank and three sisters, Mrs. David Smith, Galt: Mrs. Herman Schmidt, Preston and Mrs. David Staley, Kitchener. Remains are resting at the residence at Hagey's Crossing where service will take place on Monday, April 28 at 2.30 o'clock. Interment in the Preston cemetery.
