On Sunday, Aug. 29, 1993, at People Care, Tavistock, Alma Mohr, formerly of RR 1, New Hamburg. She was born in North Easthope township 68 years ago, a daughter of the late John and Lillie (Schmidt) Rose. She was a member of Zion United Church, New Hamburg and a member of the former Oetzel United Church, where she had been a member of the UCW. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting as her hobbies. Beloved wife of Willard Mohr whom she married June 22, 1946. Loving mother to John and his wife Elaine, Irvin and his wife Cathy, all of New Hamburg, David and wife Lynda of Gads Hill, Larry of Ottawa, Roger and Alan, at home: ever remembered by her grandchildren, Krista, Kevin, Mark, Neil, Jason, Sherry and Angel. Sadly missed by four brothers and two sisters. Ernest and his wife Mildred, Fred and his wife Pat, all of Stratford, Edgar and his wife Olivia and William and his wife Doreen, all of RR 1, Gads Hill, Anna and her husband Ross Hyde and Oleva and her husband Alvin Faulhafer, all of RR 1, Stratford. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, this evening (Monday) from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. On Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1993 at noon, transfer will be made to Zion United Church, New Hamburg for the service at 2 p.m., with Rev. George Sim officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg
