    ROBERT A. McNEILL

    PRESTON, Oct. 11--Ailing only a few days prior to being taken to St. Mary's Hospital Monday, Robert Alexander McNeill, Sr., veteran railwaytman, died early last night. Mr. McNeill was born in Walkerton and came to Preston, after serving 17 years with the Chicago Street Railway. He was employed by the Grand River Railway here for 19 years. A member of St. Paul's United church, an Oddfellow and a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. Mr. McNeill was wellknown along his railway run. He is survived by his wife, one son, Stanley of Toronto, three brothers, James and John of Walkerton and Joseph of Chicago, three sisters, Mrs. William Frick and Mrs. Margaret Moore of Walkerton and Mrs. Elisabeth Caw, South Bend, Ind. The remains are at the H. K. Stager Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Thursday from that place at 2.30 p.m. Interment will take place in Preston Cemetery.
