    PRESTON, Oct. 5 - Well-known Preston resident for the past 27 years, Ruth Ann Moore, widow of George Whitworth, died at Knollwood Park Hospital, Kitchener, yesterday at the age of 75 years. Mrs. Whiteworth was ill for the past two years and confined to hospital for eight months. Born in Batley, Yorkshire, England, she came to Canada 27 years ago, directly to Preston. She was a member of St. John's Anglican Church and of the Women's Auxiliary and the Ladies' Aid of that church. Her husband predeceased her in 1935. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Angus Speckeen of Toronto and Mrs. James McDonald of Preston; three sons, Percival of Batley, Yorkshire; Clifford of Dewsbury, England, and Frank Whitworth of Kitchener; one sister, Mrs. Cliffe Hirst, of Preston; two brothers, James Moore of Leeds, England and Frank Moore of Dewsbury, England and seven grandchildren. The body is resting at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home where the funeral will be held Friday with service in St. John's Anglican Church at 2: 30 p.m. Interment will be in the Preston cemetery.
