Of 625 Laurel St., Cambridge (P), at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Thursday, July 6, 1978, William Cassidy, beloved husband of the late Helen Cullaton, in his 61st year. Dear father of Ronald of Hanover, Michael and Richard of Cambridge, Eileen (Mrs. Pat Murphy), Joan (Mrs. Elgin MacDonald), Carol (Mrs. Lloyd Parks) and Mary of Cambridge; predeceased by one daughter, Florence Cassidy in 1984. Also survived by his mother, Mrs. Richard Cassidy of Walkerton; four brothers, Joseph and Basil of Walkerton, Patrick of Cambridge, Sylvester of London and four sisters, Donalda (Mrs. James Miller) of Walkerton, Mildred (Mrs. Lyman Parradis) of British Columbia, Mrs. Geraldine Lippart of Lucknow, Marie (Mrs. John Procopowltz) of Walkerton and 12 grandchildren. Mr. Cassidy was born in Walkerton and had resided in Preston, for 30 years, was machinest for Wean United of Canada Limited and a member of St. Clements Church. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
