Rock, J. Frederick - At K-W Hospital, on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1989, age 86 years, of 561 Brookhaven Cres., Waterloo. Mr. Rock was born in Logan Township and was a son of the late Caroline and Henry Rock. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was retired form Electrohome Limited, where he had worked for nearly 30 years. Predeceased by his wife, the former Martha Morenz; three sisters and two great-grandchildren. Beloved father of Catherine and her husband Fergus Connolly of RR 1, Stratford, Howard and his wife Ruth, Marjorie Ann Rock and Grace and her husband Ernest Harris, all of Waterloo. He is also lovingly remembered by 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one brother, Martin; one sister, Mrs. Frieda Ahrens, both of Mitchell and by his nieces and nephews. Mr. Rock's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, form 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Wednesday. At noon on Thursday, transfer will be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Waterloo for the funeral service at 2 pm (Thursday), with Rev. Eric Weber officiating. Interment to follow in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo.
