    Jacob Rosenberger, "the second son of Abraham Rosenberger, was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, about the year 1772. He was married to Polly Detweiler. During the early part of the present century they moved to Canada and settled in Waterloo County. In 1834 while residing in Beverly Township, Wentworth County, they took the cholera and both died of that dreadful disease. Their family consisted of twelve children"

    Daniel Eby, "was born January, 1773, and in 1807 he, in company with others, emigrated to Canada and had his home with his cousin, Benjamin Eby. In 1809 he was married to Catharine Brech who died in 1815, leaving two daughters, namely: Susannah, and Rebecca who was married to Abraham Rosenberger. In October, 1817, he left Canada and went to western Pennsylvania where he formed an acquaintance with Delilah Moxley, a widow residing in McClellandtown, near Pittsburg, to whom he was married in January, 1818, and soon thereafter moved to what is now the township and county of Waterloo, Ontario. They took up land a little north of the town of Waterloo, the farm being now known as the "Huber" or "Mrs. Sittler Farm". Here he resided but a short time, and then went back to Pennsylvania where he took sick and died November 28th, 1820. His wife remained in Canada, and died June 25th, 1842. they were blessed with one son"
