    Of 778 Walter St., Cambridge (Preston) at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Tuesday, August 31, 1976, Emery S. Dean, beloved husband of Elsie Powley; dear father of Joseph of Cambridge, Salem of Waterloo, Ellen (Mrs. James Garraway), Primrose (Mrs. Kenneth Cook) of Cambridge, in his 78th year. Also survived by one sister, Mrs. Ruby Turner of Windsor and 10 grandchildren. Mr. Dean was born in Durham and had been a resident of Cambridge, for 27 years. He was retired from Werlich Industries; a member of St. John's Anglican Church and a member of the Preston Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 126. He had served in the First World War. Resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (Preston). Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
