Of RR 1, Holyrood, on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 1989, at Kincardine District General Hospital, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Gladys Hilgardener; dear father of Gordon and his wife Margaret of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arnold of Lindsay and Paul of Kitchener and one sister, Elsie of Kentucky. Mr. Kurt was born in Kitchener and moved from Cambridge (Galt) to Holyrood 22 years ago. He was a retired painter. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge, today (Thursday), 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home, Friday, Nov. 24, 1989 at 1: 30 p.m. Interment Parklawn cemetery, Cambridge.
