    SUTHERLAND, Sheila (Zieman)

    Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at Henderson General Hospital, Hamilton, in her 66th year. Survived by son Kevin Sheppard, best friend and companion Larry Pilgrim, brother; Terry Zieman (Bev), Sharon Memmott (Ed), Karen Bartlett (Walt), Linda Green (Jim), Bonnie George (Frank), Elaine King (Randy), Eleanor Cherry (George) and best friend; Bev Detweiler, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; Marjorie and Walter Zieman and husband Luke Sutherland. Special thank you to her nieces Marj and Tracy. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at 3 p.m., from Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge. Cremation has taken place.

    WALTER JOHN ZIEMAN

    A lifetime resident of Cambridge, Walter John Zieman, 344 Garden St. died yesterday, at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital. He was 61. Surviving are his wife Marjorie Sauder; son Terry of Alberta; seven daughters, Sheila (Mrs. Jane Shepherd) ; Sharon (Mrs. Edward Memmott) ; Karen (Mrs. D. Bernier ) ; Linda (Mrs. Jane Green) ; Bonnie (Mrs. Frank George) and Eleanor (Mrs. George Cherry) all of Cambridge and Elaine (Mrs. Randy King) Guelph. Also surviving are brothers, Sydney of Cambridge and Albert of Kitchener; sisters; Ruth (Mrs. Arthur Dear) of St. Thomas and Katherine (Mrs. Harold Harper) of Kitchener and 13 grandchildren. Mr. Zieman is resting at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd. Funeral service will be conducted, Saturday, at 11 a.m., with interment in Park Lawn Cemetery.

    Peacefully, with her family, by her side. Beloved wife of the late Walter Zieman (1979). Loving "Mom" of Terry (Bev), Sheila (Luke) Sutherland, Sharon (Ed) Memmott, Karen (Walter) Bartlett, Linda (Jim) Green, Bonnie (Frank) George, Elaine (Randy) King, Eleanor (George) Cherry. Survived by her brothers, Gordon, Orville, Carl and sisters, Alice O'Donohue, Edith Hisey. Loving "Nanny" of 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Katherine Sauder; one brother, Clare and one sister, Nelda Bergey. Marjorie was along time employee at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital food services and was a devoted member of the Church of the Nazarene. Family and friends called on the Barthel Funeral Home 566 Queenston Rd. Cambridge, on Sunday February 27, 2005, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral ceremonies will be held at the Church of the Nazarene, 1332 Hamilton St., Cambridge on Monday, February 28, 2005 (today) at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at the Parklawn Cemetery.

He was a member of the Cressman Church, where funeral services were held Aug. 11, in charge of Albert Martin and Horace Cressman.

    Jacob L. Sauder Jacob L. Sauder, 76, of Breslau, died Wednesday at his home after a lengthy illness.

    He was.born Aug. 18, 1885, in Wallace Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sauder. He farmed in the Breslau area for 43 years. He was a member of Cressman Mennonite Church, Breslau.

    Surviving are his wife, the former Catherine Habermehl. whom he married in 1915 in Wilmot Township; four sons, Clare and Orval of Kitchener, Gordon of Toronto, Carl of Manitoulin Island; four daughters, Mrs. James (Nelda) Bergey of Breslau, Mrs. Walter (Marjorie) Zieman of Preston, Mrs. Charles (Alice) O'Donoghue of Kitchener, Mrs. James (Edith) Hill of Lions Head; a brother, Aaron of St. Jacobs; a sister, Anna of St. Jacobs and 30 grandchildren. One daughter and a brother predeceased him.

    The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until noon on Saturday when removal will be made to Cressman Mennonite Church, where funeral service will be conducted at 2: 30 p.m. by Rev. Albert Martin. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

    Donations to the Ontario Mennonite Mission Board will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
