Passed away peacefully, with family at his side on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at the age of 82. Predeceased by wife Therese (2009). Loving and devoted father of Mary Collin (the late Ben Collin), Carl (Peggy) and David (Carrie). Dear grandfather of Logan Scott, Jocelyn Scott, Cheryl-Lynn Losier (Keith), Jordan Scott, Lynn Collin, Jean-Marc Collin, Stephane Collin. Great-grandfather of Jean-Benoit Collin, Zachary, Ethan and Hannah Losier and Amy Scott. Murray is survived by his sisters; Doreen Scott, Kathleen Thaxter and Gloria Stanley. He is predeceased by his brother, Earl Scott (Ruth). The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Extendicare, St. Catharines for their patience, kindness and compassion. Special thanks to Paul Yates for taking such watchful, kind and professional care of Murray. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street N., Cambridge, where family will receive friends on Friday, March 21, 2014, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at 1: 30 p.m., with interment following at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
